Reel News: First Look Into Bridgerton Season 4 Features Love Story Start at a Masquerade Ball
Dearest Gentle Readers, Bridgerton has just released an insider look into the newest season and what better day than on Valentine’s Day?!
Season 4 of Bridgerton will focus on Benedict and Sophie’s love story. The main couple will be played by Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, who recently attended a virtual fan celebration to share some exclusive content and exciting news about the upcoming season!
Straight out of a fairytale, the newest season follows Benedict and his struggle to find love after witnessing his siblings' epic stories unfold. When he attends his mother’s masquerade ball, he finds himself intrigued with the Lady in Silver, who proves to be none other than Sophie Baek.
Thompson and Ha were joined by showrunner Jess Brownell at the recent event to speak on the new season. According to them, Season 4 will dig deeper into the Regency Era and show the social class divide between Benedict and Sophie. Thompson and Ha also confirm that this season will very closely follow the novel, written by Julia Quinn.
We can also prepare to see some of our favorites returning back to the new season. In one image we are offered an insight into Season 3’s iconic couple, Collin and Penelope. The two look wonderfully happy as they hold their child; which we saw at the end of last season!
Of course, the Ton would not be complete without our queen! Reprising her role yet again as Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel, is seen on her usual throne, showing off a new wig. Demanding power wherever she goes, we can only assume what drama is in store for her in season 4 as well!
It seems that we are in for another season of elevated drama and romance. As the cast confirmed they are still currently filming, a release date is unknown. But at least we have these bits of teasers to hold us over for now and we can’t wait for Bridgerton Season 4!
