Let’s get into the roundup.
Love Is Blind - February 14
Love is Blind returns for season 8, bringing the same messiness as always—past relationships, dishonesty, online drama, and competition. But it’s not without its heartfelt moments. One of the ladies even describes it as the “Hunger Games”—could that be a glimpse of what’s to come this season? Love is Blind returns February 14.
Running Point - February 27
Kate Hudson is stepping into her boss-woman role in Netflix’s new comedy series Running Point. After a scandal involving her brother puts Isla Gordon in line to become the next president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball franchise, she must prove to the men around her that she’s ready for the challenge. No pressure, except for when Brenda Song says, “On behalf of all women, don’t ever make a mistake. Looks bad for all of us.” The 10-episode series, from The Mindy Kaling Project, stars Song, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Jay Ellis, and Max Greenfield.
Riff Raff - Feburary 28
Riff Raff is a Dito Montiel film packed with a star-studded cast, including Jennifer Coolidge, Bill Murray, Pete Davidson, Gabrielle Union, Ed Harris, and Lewis Pullman. Hitman Lonnie (Davidson) and Leftie (Murray) are hunting down Pullman’s Rocco for killing Leftie’s son, putting Rocco’s entire family in danger and forcing them into hiding. It’s a family reunion filled with ridiculous comedy and its fair share of gunfire. Riff Rafa premieres February 28.
Sinners - March 7
Director Ryan Coogler teams up again with Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming film Sinners. Jordan takes on double duty as brothers Elijah and Elias, who return to their hometown, expecting to pick up where they left off. However, they soon discover the sinister vampires lurking among them. This week’s newest trailer gives us sneak peek at Hailee Steinfeld and Jordan as the bloodthirsty monsters. Set in the 20th century, this horror period piece blends blues music with the supernatural for a chilling ride. Sinners will hit theaters on March 7.
